Bell leveraged more than 600,000 hours of tiltrotor experience to produce the Bell V-280 Valor for the FLRAA program. Since its first flight in 2017, the V-280 team has executed a rigorous flight test program flying more than 200 hours through over 160 individual test flights.
Initiated following contract award in 2019, the Bell 360 program is producing an advanced, scout aircraft to fulfill requirements set out by the Army FARA program. The Bell 360 Invictus is designed to provide improved lethality, survivability, and extended reach for Army Aviation.
Our experts designed the FARA and FLRAA products to be supported by the same aviation ground support equipment used today and adapted the aircraft to be compatible with the U.S. Army’s current sustainment data systems.
Our Open-Architecture Digital Backbone offers effective on-demand integrations of new mission system equipment, paving the way for reliable, quick and cost-effective technology adaptability.
